Delaware Readiness Teams
What are Delaware Readiness Teams?
Delaware Readiness Teams are an exciting way to bring community members together to use Delaware's Readiness Equation as the foundation for creating or expanding systems of support for young children, from birth to age 8, and their families.
Families, early childhood programs, educators and community and business leaders make up Delaware Readiness Teams to help build strong links connecting children from birth to grade 3 and beyond so they're for school and life!
Using information based on community assessments to determine what is needed most in their individual communities, Delaware Readiness Teams developed action plans focused on ways they could help their communities with the support children need for a great start in life.
The Delaware Readiness Teams are generously supported by funds contributed by PNC, Nemours, Rodel Foundation of Delaware and United Way of Delaware. Each team uses these funds to support the actions and plans they identified to support the communities, families and children in their communities.
