There are many ways you can make a difference in Delaware to help young children get high quality early learning that is critical to their success in school and life.

Learn more about what is happening in Delaware in Early Childhood: The Office of Early Learning provides a monthly e-news bulletin each month that provides with up-to-date information on early childhood system building and accomplishments in our state as well as offers new information on practice tips for early educators, policy and trends and new research in the field.

Send a note to your legislator or the Governor to let them know that you believe early learning for young children in our state is a top priority for you and that you want them to take positive action to support a strong, statewide system of early learning all young children in Delaware.

The Ounce of Prevention Fund gives children in poverty the best chance for success in school and in life by advocating for and providing the highest quality care and education from birth to age five. The Ounce website is updated regularly and provides a variety of information about early childhood programs and research, advocacy and policy, how families can get involved in early childhood programs and advocating for high quality early learning and news and resources.
